Yahaya Lawali, Joel Yakubu unveiled as ambassadors for Integrity group
MFK Karvina of Slovakia defender, Yahaya Lawali and Joel Yakubu who plays for FC Slovan Librec have been unveiled as ambassadors for Sport Integrity Foundation.
At an event held in Abuja where Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko, and General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF) were in attendance, the players expressed delight at the recognition, they also assured of being worthy ambassadors.
Coordinator of the Integrity Group, Comrade Abiola Shodiya explained that the impressive characters of the young players, earned them the ambassadorial tag, adding that the responsibility will shape them to be exemplary models for the youngers ones.
Yahaya Lawali, a former captain of Nigeria's U-17 team, Golden Eaglets, and Joel Yakubu recently teamed up with their new clubs abroad from Mahanaim FC, Abuja.
