Mahanaim players embark on year-end break
Friday morning training of 16th December, 2022 will mark Mahanaim FC last activity for the year, as the players and staffers would embark on a well deserved end of the year break, to celebrate Christmas and New year with their families and loved ones.
According to one of the team's Coordinators, Sunday Amoo, the excitement has been building already this week after the announcement was made known to the players regarding the Yuletide season's break; while also giving account of how the team performed in the year under review.
"It's worthy of note that 2022 has been a great year for the club, in terms of growth and development which translated into some impressive results on the field. We had a great run in the FCT Aiteo Cup this year, with a semifinal finish", he explained further
" As formidable football club, we played in the Quarterfinal of the Unity Preseason Cup, after topping a group that housed two Nigerian league clubs, teams like Wikki Tourist of Bauchi and Doma United of Gombe. Our boys also gave the home based Super Eagles a run for their money at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, with the national team escaping with a 2-3 victory" said Sunday Amoo
With over 30 victories recorded, including cup match victories, friendlies and exhibition matches victories. The management of Mahanaim FC gave the boys a path on the back for a good year.
Meanwhile,All players and staff members are expected back in the second week of the new year. The management will in this period, examine the technical reports of each player.
