BFC Daugavpils sign Yakubu on loan from Slovan Liberec
Nigerian forward Joel Yakubu has joined Latvian top division club BFC Daugavpils on loan until the end of the season, from Slovan Liberec.
Liberec sanctioned this move in order to afford the youngster more playing time and development at the top level.
It is also believed that Joel, who celebrated his 20th birthday last week is keen to prove himself at the highest level.
