The Collaboration

While Edward moves to the Czech Republic as a player from Al Masi, Mahanaim FC takes credit for his youth development days in Abuja where he was groomed to become the player he is today under the tutelage of coach Lawal Dankoli and his team.

Attributes

Edward can play on either side of the attack as a winger. He is a nimble-footed player with the ability to take on defenders. His quick decision-making ability makes him a dangerous opponent.

This collaboration by both teams has thus catapulted the highly rated prodigy into the heart of Europe, where he is expected to continue to develop and become a future star.

Legacy

Edward joins Samuel Sokoato, his teammate from Mahanaim FC at Sigma, as well as Ahmad Ghali, a former Mahanaim player who is already an established first-team player at the club.

"I give thanks to God for giving me the grace to be here. I want to thank my family, mum, dad and my siblings for their support towards my career," Sokoato said.

"I'm very grateful to Mahanaim FC for everything. The lessons, training and discipline instilled in me is what has helped me," he noted.

Sigma who are UEFA Conference League campaigners this season also has a Mahanaim FC graduate, Ahmad Ghali on its pay roll, a role model whom Sokoato Samuel Aibe can look up to at the club.
